illustrating the procedures necessary to install and operate an AMI-provided
superconducting magnet. The videos are not intended as a replacement for the
provided printed manuals. The intent is to further clarify the required
steps for installing and operating a superconducting magnet for inexperienced

Insert the Magnet/Support Stand into the Dewar Slowly insert the magnet and support stand assembly into the dewar. Carefully guide the support stand baffles as they are inserted. |

Fasten the Support Stand Insert and tighten the bolts that attach the top of the support stand to the dewar opening. |

Insert any Custom Instrumentation Assembly In the example video, AMI uses a simple block-off plate to seal the top of the support stand. Customers may have specific instrumentation assemblies that may need to be inserted into the center access port of the support stand at this point. |
