The American Magnetics, Inc. (AMI) Model 174 Liquid Level
Transmitter system is a ruggedized version of AMI's line of capacitance-based level
instrumentation. The Model 174 is designed for use in industrial environments and utilizes
a NEMA 4 enclosure for maximum protection from external environmental conditions.Capacitance-based level sensing Simple Calibration In contrast to competitor's systems in the industrial applications market, the Model 174 provides simple microprocessor-controlled calibration. Simply press the MIN and MAX buttons to set the zero and span for any installed sensor. No tedious potentiometer adjustments are required for calibration. Calibration values are stored in non-volatile memory. Remote monitoring The Model 174 is provided with a 4-20 mA output which corresponds to 0-100% liquid level. |
