suited for measuring levels of liquid helium, nitrogen, liquefied natural gas, carbon
dioxide, argon, and other industrial or laboratory liquids. These instruments
are also referred to as cryogen level monitors. Resistance-based
sensors are used for measuring liquid helium via use of a superconducting filament. Capacitance-based sensors are utilized for all other liquids.
